Bowl Salt Lamps

Himalayan salt bowl lamps supplied wholesale to homeware distributors, gift retailers, and private label brands. Each unit pairs a carved or wrought iron bowl with loose pink salt chunks, lit from beneath so the fill glows rather than the vessel. Available with wooden, marble, or iron bases, in fire bowl and basket formats, with cord and fitting specified to your market’s electrical standard. Packed for container transit and shipped to 45 countries.

Bowl and Basket Lamp Formats

Five formats covering the full retail price ladder. Carved salt bowls are cut from a single block, so the vessel itself glows alongside the fill and commands the highest retail price. Wrought iron fire bowls are the volume line, with the metalwork holding chunks in an open basket. Wire basket lamps are lighter and ship at lower freight cost per unit. Marble-base bowls sit in the premium tier for interiors retail. USB fire bowls combine the format with low-voltage supply, removing the mains approval requirement entirely in most markets.

Why Bowl Lamps Need Manufacturing Discipline

A bowl lamp is an assembly, not a carving, and it fails at the joins rather than in the salt.

Wholesale Salt Bowl Lamps, Shipped Worldwide

Bowl lamps are the most returned format in the salt lamp category, and almost none of it is the salt’s fault. The failures are electrical, structural, and logistical, in that order, and all three are decided by the manufacturer long before the product reaches a shelf.

Electrical is the one that stops a shipment outright. A cord assembly that has not been specified to the destination standard can be rejected at customs, and the buyer discovers it while the container sits accruing demurrage. We confirm the standard, the plug type, the cord length, and the switch configuration in writing before assembly starts, because retrofitting a cord across a container of finished units is not economically possible.

Structural failure is slower and more damaging to a brand. The join between bowl and base carries the full weight of the salt fill, and a fitting seated into salt rather than into the base will work loose over months of handling. We seat fittings into the base material and secure the bowl independently, so the assembly holds under normal retail handling and shipping vibration.

The third is fill. A fire bowl sold at a fixed retail weight with chunks thrown in by eye will vary enough between units that a customer weighing two of them notices. Ours are filled to a stated tolerance and the chunks are size-matched to the bowl diameter, so the light passes between the pieces and the product actually glows rather than sitting dark.

Bases are worth choosing deliberately rather than accepting whatever a supplier defaults to. Timber reads warm and sells well in homeware, but it triggers biosecurity inspection in Australia and New Zealand and has to be treated and certified. Wrought iron sidesteps that entirely and suits industrial and rustic ranges. Marble carries the highest perceived value and the highest freight weight. Each changes your landed cost and your clearance risk, and we will talk through which fits your route rather than quoting one and leaving you to discover the rest.

We supply homeware and gift distributors, wellness retailers, interiors buyers, DTC brands, and large-format retail across Europe, North America, the Gulf, and Australasia. Mixed trial pallets are available for buyers testing a range before committing to container volumes. Our export team can advise on format mix, electrical specification, base material, and packaging design for your route and climate.
