Himalayan Salt Insights

Sourcing guides, import requirements, grade selection, and market insight written for the people who actually buy Himalayan salt — importers, distributors, food manufacturers, private label brands, and spa operators. Written by the people who mine and process it, rather than assembled from other people’s articles.

Why We Publish This

Why We Publish This
From the export team

Most of what is written about Himalayan salt online is written by people who have never been near the Salt Range. It recycles the same wellness claims, repeats the same unsourced mineral counts, and is of no use whatsoever to someone trying to decide which grade to specify or what paperwork a container needs to clear customs in Busan.

We write the other thing. The questions our export team answers by email every week — why a grinder jams, which markets require iodisation, how many bricks a square metre of wall takes, why a salt block split — are questions with real answers, and there is no good reason they should only reach the people who happen to ask us. If an article saves you a conversation, it has done its job.
