Salt Bricks

Precision-cut Himalayan salt bricks supplied in bulk to halotherapy room builders, spa contractors, and architectural installers. Cut to a controlled dimensional tolerance so courses run true and joints stay uniform across a full wall, moisture-stabilised before packing, and crated for construction site handling rather than retail shipping. Available in natural pink, white, and grey salt, in standard and custom dimensions, with quantity calculated per square metre of finished wall.

Brick Sizes and Finishes

Five specifications covering standard and bespoke installation. Standard bricks at 20 × 10 × 5cm are the volume line and the dimension most salt room designs are drawn around. Thin bricks reduce wall depth and weight where the structure behind cannot carry a full course. Large-format bricks cut installation time on tall walls. Backlit bricks are cut from selected seams and thickness-matched for even light transmission. Custom-cut bricks cover curved walls, corner returns, and reveals where a standard rectangle will not close the detail.

Why Dimensional Tolerance Decides a Salt Wall

A salt wall is a building element, and it has to arrive to building tolerances rather than as decorative stone sold by weight.

Bulk Himalayan Salt Bricks for Construction

Halotherapy has moved from a niche wellness treatment into mainstream spa, hotel, gym, and clinic construction, and the supply chain has not caught up with it. Contractors working on a first salt room routinely discover that what they were sold as brick is decorative rock with a twenty percent dimensional spread, arriving damp and impossible to course cleanly. The install runs over, the wall looks wrong under lighting, and the material gets blamed for what was a specification failure.

Tolerance is where this is won or lost. A two millimetre variation is invisible in a single brick and unmissable across thirty courses, because the error accumulates in one direction and the top of the wall ends up visibly out of level. Correcting it on site means either grinding units down or packing joints wider, and both are slow, messy, and visible in the finished surface. We cut to tolerance and state it, so the installer can plan coursing rather than improvise it.

Moisture is the other one. Salt absorbs water from the air, and a brick that has taken on moisture in a humid hold swells, softens at the arris, and bonds to the brick beside it in the crate. Prised apart on site, the edges chip. We cure to stable moisture content before packing and use a moisture barrier in the crate rather than relying on shrink wrap.

Quantity is the third thing that catches first-time salt room builders, and it is easy to get wrong on paper. A wall specified in square metres converts to brick count at roughly fifty units per square metre in standard dimension, but that calculation ignores cuts at openings, corner returns, and the units lost to breakage during handling. Ordering exactly to the theoretical figure guarantees running short in the final courses, at which point the contractor is waiting six weeks on a top-up shipment with a room they cannot hand over. We build an agreed overage into every order and will run the take-off against your drawings rather than leaving you to estimate it.

We supply salt therapy room builders, spa and wellness contractors, architects and interior designers, hotel developers, and construction material distributors across 45 countries. Our export team can calculate quantities per square metre of finished wall, advise on brick dimension against your design, and specify the lighting depth that works behind salt.
