Cosmetic-grade Himalayan bath salt supplied wholesale and in bulk to spa operators, cosmetic manufacturers, and private label wellness brands. Graded from coarse soaking crystal through to fine scrub, available plain or blended with essential oils and botanicals, and supplied as bulk ingredient or filled into your own retail packaging. INCI documentation and safety data prepared for EU, UK, and US market entry, so your launch does not stall waiting on paperwork.
Five formats spanning bulk ingredient and finished retail. Coarse soaking crystal is the volume line for spa treatment rooms and salt baths, where slow dissolution across a long soak is the point. Medium bathing grade is the standard retail jar and pouch fill and the format most private label brands start with. Fine scrub grade is milled for blending into oil-based exfoliants without feeling abrasive on skin. Essential oil blends are produced to your fragrance brief rather than picked from a fixed list. Botanical blends combine pink salt with dried flowers and herbs for premium retail positioning.
Bath products are regulated as cosmetics, not food, and that changes both the specification and the paperwork
Most Himalayan bath salt on the market is food-grade salt in a cosmetic pouch. It works, in the sense that salt is salt — right up until a retailer’s compliance team asks for an INCI statement and a safety data sheet, or a regulator queries a CPNP notification, and the supplier has neither because they have only ever sold into food. At that point the launch date moves, and it moves again.
We produce to cosmetic grade from the outset. Salt is washed, dried, and screened to the particle range the application actually needs rather than to a food specification that happens to sit nearby on the production schedule. Fragrance and botanical blending is formulated for colour stability across shelf life, which matters more in this category than in any other we supply, because a bath salt is bought largely on how it looks in the jar. The INCI statement, certificate of analysis, safety data, and allergen declaration are prepared alongside the order rather than requested afterwards.
The other thing brands underestimate is minimum order quantity. Wellness is a category where ranges are tested and cut fast, and a supplier demanding a full container for a first run is asking a brand to bet on a product it has not validated. Our first-run minimums are deliberately low for exactly this reason, and they scale up as the line proves itself.
Packaging deserves more thought than it usually gets in this category too. A clear glass jar shows the product beautifully and is what most brands reach for first, but glass is heavy, breaks in transit, and carries a freight cost per unit that erodes margin on a low-price line. Stand-up pouches ship at a fraction of the weight and protect against moisture more reliably, at the cost of shelf presence. Neither is wrong, and the right answer depends on your channel and your price point. We supply both and will talk through the trade-off honestly rather than pushing whichever is easier for us to fill.
We supply spa and hotel groups, cosmetic contract manufacturers, DTC wellness brands, retail private label programmes, and salt therapy operators across 45 countries. Bath salt ships as bulk sacks for your own filling line, or blended, filled, labelled, and shrink-wrapped as retail-ready units under your brand.
