Pink Salt Granules

Screened Himalayan salt granules produced for grinder packs, table shakers, and automated food processing lines. Sized to a controlled 1–3mm band with fines removed, so granules feed cleanly through a mill mechanism without jamming or pouring straight through. Supplied in 25kg and 50kg food-grade bags or one-tonne jumbo bags, under BRCGS Grade AA certification, to grinder-pack producers, private label brands, and food manufacturers in 45 countries. Custom screen cuts available against volume orders.

Granule Grades and Applications

Five screen cuts covering the main grinder and processing applications. Standard grinder grade at 1–3mm is the volume line and suits the majority of ceramic and stainless mill mechanisms. Fine grinder grade serves compact travel and single-use mills with tighter throats, where standard grade bridges and stalls. Shaker grade is cut to pour freely without bridging in the neck of a dispenser. Processing grade is screened tight for automated dosing and blending lines that depend on predictable flow. Custom screen cuts are produced where your mill or filling equipment requires a specific band, and we will run a sample against your mechanism before committing a production run.

Why Granule Consistency Decides This Purchase

Granules are the one pink salt grade where particle distribution is not a technical detail — it is the whole product.

Granules for Grinder Packs and Food Processing

The grinder-pack market is unforgiving in a specific way. A consumer who buys a pink salt mill and finds it jamming halfway down the pack does not blame the mill mechanism — they blame the salt, and they do not repurchase. For the brand filling that pack, granule consistency is the difference between a repeat line and a discontinued one, and it is decided entirely by the supplier.

That failure almost always traces to fines. Powder and dust left in the granule mix migrate downward during transit and storage, concentrating at the base of the pack, where they bind under the weight above and block the mill throat. It is invisible at the point of filling and obvious to the consumer six weeks later, by which time the shipment is long since paid for and the complaints are arriving. We screen fines out before packing rather than leaving them in as saleable weight, which costs us yield on every tonne and removes the single most common failure in the category.

The second variable is moisture. Granules that absorb moisture in transit clump into aggregates that behave like oversize particles, jamming the same mechanism from the opposite direction. Our granules are dried to below half a percent and packed in poly-lined bags, so what leaves the facility at specification arrives at specification.

Where buyers most often go wrong is specifying a screen cut from a catalogue rather than from their own equipment. Mill mechanisms differ considerably between manufacturers, and a granule band that runs perfectly through a ceramic burr can stall in a stainless one with a tighter throat. We will run a sample of your chosen cut against your actual mechanism before a production order is confirmed, which takes a fortnight and removes the most expensive variable in the category.

We supply grinder-pack producers, private label and retail brands, spice and seasoning houses, foodservice packers, and food manufacturers running automated dosing lines across 45 countries. Our export team can advise on screen cut selection for your specific mill mechanism, bulk density for volumetric filling, packaging format, and the import documentation your destination market requires. Most enquiries are answered the same working day over WhatsApp.
